Waikiki is known to have some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. While it is known for great beaches and bright blue water, there is more than enough to do and many other activities to take part in when visiting the island.


Waikiki Sunset: With beautiful beaches and scenic views, Waikiki is certain to have its fair share of beautiful places to watch the sunset. Journey to any of the local beaches and sit down with someone special to enjoy the beautiful sunset.

Visit the Statue of Duke Kahanamoku: This lasting tribute to the history of the Waikiki area is a great place to visit and one of the best places to get a picture with the Duke. His statue is located directly in the center of the city.

Helicopter Ride: The best way to get a scenic view of Waikiki is to hop aboard a helicopter and take a ride over the ocean, beaches, and mountains. Circle the surrounding area to take in all the views as the sun sets.

Scuba Dive: Explore the underwater world of Waikiki. Hawaii is the perfect place to go scuba diving and Waikiki is the epitome of scuba diving in Hawaii. The underwater world offers wrecks and various other treasures to find.

Beach Relaxation: Pull up a chair or towel and lay down on the beach to enjoy some sunshine and relaxation. Be sure to apply some sunscreen as it can get very strong during the middle of the day.

Hike Diamond Head: Diamond Head is within walking distance from Waikiki Beach and is a huge volcano crater. Walk through the inactive volcano crater and get great views of Waikiki while receiving an excellent workout at the same time.
