With some of the most amazing beaches in the world, there are some excellent beachfront restaurants to sample. Here are the best beachfront restaurants in the beautiful neighborhood of Waikiki.
Ruth's Chris Steak House: This is one of the few places in Waikiki where a steak lives up to the talk. The prices can get a little steep, but they are well worth it for the taste. The steaks are cooked to perfection and nowhere else on the island even comes close. The cuts are thick, juicy, and very tender.
Hula Grill: This is one of the top spots for both visitors and locals. It is located upstairs from Duke's Restaurant. It is a more upscale environment. Climb upstairs and sit outside to enjoy one of the best views of any restaurant in the neighborhood. The customer service is excellent and it is considered the favorite restaurant in Waikiki by many locals.
Chart House: For some great food that is very filling, this is the place to go. Chart House serves large portions at affordable prices. The restaurant offers steaks, but specializes in seafood. Many different kinds of fish are offered on the menu. The place is filled with locals who like to tell fish stories from the past.
Yard House: There are hundreds of beer selections at the Yard House. It is known as the 'in' place. The restaurant offers great music with some excellent food including gourmet burgers and huge salads. There are television screens which play a variety of sports and while the prices are not the best, the service is great.
Roy's: This Hawaiian cuisine offers some of the best Asian food in Waikiki. The various signature dishes that are offered every night are international favorites. It features the best seafood in Waikiki with hand-cut meats, fresh shellfish, and sushi. The wine list is one of the best around and helps the meal go down smoothly.
